Women’s Day of Action!

When Democrats come together – We win!!!

This past Saturday, September 29, 2018, Democrats from across the State of Michigan came together at UAW Local 651 to support the Genesee County Democratic Party’s Women’s Day of Action.

Renee Watson, candidate for the 14th Michigan Senate District, and Sheryl Kennedy, candidate for the 48th Michigan House District, MC’d the event and spoke to volunteers about why this election is so important.

Genesee County Treasurer, Deb Cherry, introduced both Jocelyn Benson, candidate for Secretary of State, and Megan Cavanagh, candidate for the Michigan Supreme Court.  Both spoke about what inspired them to run during this election alongside several other women from across our state.

Afterwards, Democrats knocked on thousands of doors to have conversations with voters in Genesee County as to why they should vote for Democrats in November!

Please join us at our next Day of Action October 6th at 10 am.  It takes place at the UAW Local 651 located on 3518 Robert T. Longway Blvd. in Flint, MI 48506.
