Rep. Neeley Invites Residents to Annual Golden Egg Hunt

FLINT — State Rep. Sheldon Neeley (D-Flint) encourages Flint residents to attend his 14th annual Golden Egg Hunt at two separate times on Saturday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1309 N. Ballenger Highway in Flint and from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Flint Development Center, 4121 Martin Luther King Ave. in Flint. This event is open to families and kids ages 15 and under, and will include free food and prizes for guests to enjoy, along with toothbrushes and fluoride toothpaste for the children. The “Funny” Bunny will also be available for families to take pictures with their young ones.

“As a result of the traumatic water crisis that we have endured for the past four years, and the absence of fluoride in our water intake, it is important that we take time to reaffirm the good things in our community, while also caring for the health and welfare of ourselves and our neighbors,” Rep. Neeley said. “Not only will this event provide families with a fun-filled day of activities, but it will care for the dental health of our children by providing toothbrushes and fluoridated toothpaste to protect their teeth. I look forward to seeing our community come together for this wholesome event.”
